Mayer Brothers has a designated, qualified Management Team that is responsible for supporting the Safe Quality Foods System (SQF). We have onsite SQF Practitioner that oversees the development, implementation, review and maintenance of the Food Safety Fundamentals, Food Safety Plan and Quality Plan. These procedures and policies are utilized throughout our facilities to perform food safety and quality monitoring.

Employee Training

 

Mayer Brothers Management Team has developed a continuous Training Program for employees in Food Safety, Personnel Safety and Security.

Environmental Program

 

Mayer Brothers has a well developed Environmental Monitoring Program which allows us to test for potential pathogens at key points throughout our processes.

HACCP

 

Mayer Brothers HACCP based Food Safety Plan (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), is designed to ensure that our organization controls and assures food safety.

Building and Equipment Maintenance Program

 

Mayer Brothers utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Program for Manufacturing Equipment, Instrumentation, Sanitation, and Infrastructure. This program assures our customers of on time delivery of quality products.

Microbiological Testing Program

 

Mayer Brothers testing protocols include the utilization of extensive in house testing with state of the art capabilities, as well as the use of accredited outside laboratories.

Pest Control Program

 

Mayer Brothers has contracted with Buffalo Exterminating, a Western New York Business, to provide service under our Pest Management Program.

Quality Plan

 

Mayer Brothers Quality Plan is a comprehensive program by which our organization controls and assures finished product quality.

Sanitation Program

 

Mayer Brothers Sanitation Team utilizes cleaning and sanitizing chemicals that have been approved for food processing facilities.

Site Security Program

 

Mayer Brothers Food Security Program reflects the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 (PL107-188), established by the United States Food and Drug Administration. We are a registered Food Facility with the Food and Drug Administration.
